Benefits of the Monolina sound healing session
The Monolina D is played on the body!
The Monolina D is a monochord which is an ancient instrument invented by Pythagoras. As the Monolina D is being played, the vibration goes directly into your body. Each cell starts to resonate with the healing harmonics of the Monolina, helping the cells to return to a holistic resonance. It is like having a sonic massage. You are being bathed from head to toe in a healing vibration. At the same time crystal bowls are being played next to you to increase the intensity of the sound and vibration to support healing and relaxation. This is an amazing experience.
7 Frosted Crystal Bowls can be used in a session. 5 bowls activate a different part of the endocrine system.

Crystal Bowl Meditations and Sound Bath
Vibrational sound touches our bodies on a molecular and crystalline level. The body is a network of vibrational fields and energy currents. Each individual resonates at his or her own vibration. Sound is an acoustical wave while color is an electromagnetic wave. The colors of the rainbow correspond to a specific musical note in the same way that each chakra of the body correlates with a specific tone and color. Although there is a tone and color that corresponds to each of the chakra centers, each part affects the totality. This is important to know since each crystal bowl will affect the whole body. You may feel the effects in one section of your body more deeply, but the vibrational sound will also travel throughout your entire energy field. The human body and the entire earth are made up of energy, vibrating at different frequencies. When out of rhythm, disease and disharmony result. Vibrational sound healing addresses these imbalances or blockages of the energy channels.
The notes of the crystal bowls are tuned to specific vibrational frequencies (notes) found within the human body. Thus when the sound moves through the atmosphere and touches us, it causes our cells to move in different directions at a different speed, in rhythm with the sound wave. This puts us in harmony with the sound wave. The sound penetrates into our very cells and rebalances them through oscillation and resonance. Hearing is not a prerequisite for benefiting from these healing properties. Studies have shown that sound has a direct impact on the mental processes, muscles, nervous system, (heartbeat, pulse) digestive system and circulatory system. Alignment with the tones of the Singing Crystal Bowls is one of the most dynamic forms of sound healing found today.
Crystal bowl therapy helps to balance the chakra system and re-energize the auric field. Healing is thus made possible on all levels. Each individual is unique as to which energy center(s) require balancing, so you may find yourself drawn to different tones each time you experience them. Body and Energy work practitioners have found that sessions with clients are dramatically more effective with the addition of crystal sound therapy. Clients immediately go into a state of full receptivity and relaxation. This allows the practitioner to go deeper and more easily reach underlying issues.
Sound Baths and Sound Massage
During our waking state, the normal frequency of our brain waves is that of Beta. Sound tools entrain the brain to move into the deeper Alpha and Theta brain wave frequencies. These are the frequencies that induce deep meditative and peaceful states, clarity of mind and intuition. Modern medicine can now measure and thus confirm the practice of sound as a means to promote healing. Thus, sound is a type of energy medicine that creates the sacred space in which people can heal from stress disorders, pain, depression, the emotional roller coaster and more.
During a sound bath you lay on a massage table or the floor and enjoy an individual 60 minute crystal bowl session. Helpful side effects include relaxation, a peaceful mind-set, and a meditative sense of calm. While listening, people can let go of stress, perhaps releasing negativity, or simply enjoying bathing in sound waves without thinking. Not having their minds constantly ticking over can provide a sense of relief and help reset their mental state. Sometimes, people focus on the sounds mindfully, which helps them stop mind-chatter from streaming. In this way, sound bathing becomes a different way to meditate, which is more immersive than listening to music played through headphones or via speakers. You physically feel the vibrations transmitted and become part of the experience.
